Postpartum Care – Package Guidelines

It is hard to decide how much support you will need in advance, especially if this is your first baby or twins. I have developed six packages to give you an idea about the post-natal support I provide. I have designed them to assist you with planning and budgeting for what will work best for you and your family.

Remember that this is about YOU and your family. If none of these options suit your requirements, I am happy to work with you to design a custom support package.

New Baby or Twins Visit

This introduction to my service can help you determine if you would like ongoing support.

A new baby visit is a chance to get support with whatever challenges you are facing. Whether this is your first baby (or babies) This covers all newborn needs, as well as some of the most common new parent questions. A new baby visit can be adapted to work on your specific challenges or needs.

Overnight Doula (one night)

Sunrise Doula

Clients who need a combination of concentrated sleep, a short break from baby or twin care, and practical help in the home love this service. I take baby for a few hours while you get some sleep then wake you with a hot cup of tea/coffee, a chance to shower and support in getting your day started.

Dinner and a Doula

An early evening shift. Often babies are the fussiest between 3 and 7pm. in the evening—when everything seems to hit the fan. Dinner gets pushed aside and hungry, cranky parents (and babies and kids) can also experience their peak of conflict. As the dinnertime doula, I arrive before dinner prep, so parents can make dinner and enjoy their evening together, knowing that extra hands are bathing and soothng their baby while fitting into your night-time routine.

Availability: 5 hours 4- 9pm

Baby Bundle (20 hours of doula care)

  • First 6 months. Great for setting up care for your baby or twins, focusing on learning about their specific needs, and helping everyone get back on their feet after birth.
  • Months 7-12. Typically, the post -partum period is up to 6 months after birth. This package can be used during baby’s first year as/when you need extra support.
